SWANSON, BURTON PUDDINGTON The passing of Burton Puddington Swanson, of Fredericton, occurred on July 23, 2008 at York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton. Born on November 7, 1942 in New Denmark, he was a son of the late Sigurd and Meta (Anderson) Swanson. Burton is survived by one sister, Helen Hewey of New Maryland; five brothers, Henry (Mary) of New Denmark, Ken (Nicole) of Montreal, PQ, Gordon (Gertrude) of Sarnia, ON, Ernest of Fredericton, Max (Margaret Ann) of Harvey Station; several nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visitation by Burton's request, A Memorial Service will take place at the Friendship Center, York Manor, 100 Sunset Drive on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10am with Pastor Pete Thomas officiating. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Denmark at 3pm with Pastor David Knudson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be his sister and brothers.
