Passed peacefully away June 24, 2008 at the Glenbrook Lodge, in the presence of her loving family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease, Mrs. Esther Hillier of Fortune, N.L., age 82 years. Predeceased by husband, Leonard and children Cora and Maude. She leaves to mourn her son Hubert (Gaye); daughters: Anne (Ches Lake), Grace (Albert Handrigan), Lillian (Bruce Myrden) and Maud (Carl Crowley); 10 grandchildren: Dale (Cathy), Scott (Nicole), Jason (Terralynn), Karen (Trevor), Paul, Brian, Nancy, Susan, Adam (Tara) and Nicole (Daniel); 4 great-grandchildren: Joshua, Braeden, Shaelee, and Kieran, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune, Thursday, June 26th, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral to take place from All Saints Anglican Church, Friday, June 27th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Fortune.
