MCCURDY, J. EVA The sudden passing of Eva McCurdy of Lincoln, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Thursday, July 31st, 2008. Born in St. George, NB Eva was the daughter of the late Walter and Essie (Tucker) Howard and wife of John E. McCurdy. Eva is survived by her husband of 58 years, John; her children, Deborah McGowan (Terry) of Vernon, BC, Jane McCurdy of Edmonton, AB and John McCurdy (Ruth) of Olds, AB; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert, John "Skip" and Ken Howard; sister, Louise Murphy as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Lorne and sister, Kate. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 5th, 2008 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Eva's honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
