PRINGLE, JOHN HENRY The passing of John Henry Pringle, husband of the late Fern (Thomas) Pringle, of Fredericton, occurred on August 5, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 19, 1923 in Williamsburg, he was the son of the late Frederick and Birdie (Gorman) Pringle. John was an Edgeman at Spark's Mill, Stanley for 20 years, then moved to Fredericton to be a carpenter. He was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church, Stanley and a past member of the Carpenters Union. John is survived by one son, Goldwin (Nancy) Pringle of Fredericton; one daughter, Sherma Lee Pringle of Fredericton; two granddaughters, Amanda and Tara; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Milly Sharpe and Dorothy Foreman. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery.
