THOMPSON, HERMAN DAVID At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on August 8, 2008, Herman D. Thompson of Fredericton passed away at the age of 73. Born in Targettville NB, he was a son of the late David and Greta (Roberts) Thompson. He worked for Ace Construction Ltd, as well as Hood Brothers. Herman was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. Survived by his wife, Betty (Norris); children, Judy Petrossie, Bonnie Dempsey (Dan), Brian Norris (Linda), John Norris (Kim); granddaughters, Vicki Dunham, Danielle Dempsey; grandsons, Joe and Todd Petrossie; brothers, Kenneth (Doris) and Larry; sisters, Nellie Symes and Agnes Langille; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by first wife Joan, sisters, Gladys Campbell, Ruth Donaher, Mary MacDermott; brothers, Harvey and Arnold, infant brother Edward; twins, Nora and Norma. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road on Monday August 11th, 2008 from 2 to 4 &7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 12th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. Interment in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
