HINE, DONALD 71, SYDNEY, NS It is with great sadness that we announce that passing of Donald Hine, which occurred Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at the Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility. Born in Burtts Corner, N.B., he was the son of the late Bernard and Dora (Bird) Hine. He was a member of the armed forces and traveled overseas, and later became a plumber by trade. Donnie is survived by his two sons, Eric (Sharon) Hine, Edmonton, Alta., Jamie Hine, New Brunswick; three sisters, Marion (Eldred) Love, Mactaquac, N.B., Jean Branscombe, Fredericton, N.B., Doris (Andrew) Berna, Kamloops, B.C.; brother, Richard Rick (Debbie) Hine; mother of his children, Elva Hine; as well as three grandchildren, Brian, Rodney and Crystal Hine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Lloyd. Cremation has taken place.
