SHAW, LEONA MAY The death of Leona May (Jardine) Shaw of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late David Shaw, occurred at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on August 19th, 2008. Born in Bryenton, NB, daughter of the late Byron and Janet (Gerrish) Jardine. Leona retired from the Miramichi Hospital in 1985 after working a number of years as Admitting Officer. She is survived by her sister Margaret McClean of Owen Sound, ON and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, one brother, Warren Jardine, and one sister Henrietta Bryenton. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will take place the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 21st, 2008 at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place in the Miramichi Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish and in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
