KNIGHT, RICHARD ARTHUR At the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 21, 2008, Richard A. Knight of Coles Island and formerly of Fredericton, passed away at the age of 70. Born in Fredericton NB, he was a son of Beatrice (McMaster) Knight and the late Herbert (Bert) Knight. Richard was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Upon retiring from NB Power, he worked for Capital Cemetery Service where he enjoyed his work as a Backhoe Operator. Surviving are his mom, Beatrice; wife, Janet; son, Steven Knight of Ottawa; daughter, Melissa Finnie (John) of Lincoln; brother, Bob (Joan) of Coles Island; sisters, Roberta Trail (Keith) of Vancouver, Barb MacBean (John) of Hanwell; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Bert and daughter Marie. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road from 2 to 4 pm. A funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home on Monday August 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be held in the Dunphy Cemetery.
