GALVIN, HAZEL MARY At the White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction on Friday August 29th, 2008, Hazel Mary Galvin of Fredericton, passed away at the age of 96. Born in Campbellton, NB she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Bridget (Duguay) Trites and wife of the late Jack G. Galvin. A member of the Roman Catholic Church, she was a Psychiatric Nurse at Massillon State Hospital, Massillon, Ohio. Hazel was a member of the Kinsmen Senior Club of Fredericton, Waggoners Lane, the Craft Club, as well as a Volunteer for many years at the Fredericton Soup Kitchen. Survived by three brothers Wallace, Clifford and Harold; seven grandchildren Gary Guidry (Diane), Jill Atkinson (Jim), Tom Guidry, Brian Guidry (Maureen), Kevin Guidry (Rhonda), Chris Guidry, James Guidry (Lisa); 14 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter, Joan Guidry (1995); four sisters and nine brothers. Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 3, 2008 from Holy Family Parish Church, Hanwell Road at 2 PM with Father J. J. Dolan officiating.
