NASON, GEORGE WESLEY George Wesley Nason of Fredericton Junction passed away at his home on August 31, 2008 at the age of 89. George is survived by a special nephew Brian Mott, sister-in-Law Marvel Nason and Brother-in-law Chester Mott as well as several nieces & nephews. George retired as a custodian from U.N.B. in 1983 and enjoyed his retirement years following sports especially hockey. George was a life member of Branch #55 Royal Canadian legion. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family being predeceased by his parents Arminta (Phillips) and Parker B. Nason; five sisters Mildred Harris, Roxie Phillips, Charlotte Mott, Lucy Nason and Norma Mott; six brothers David, Rainsford, James, Ellis, Ray, and Payson . Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday September 2,2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Legion Tribute will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on September 3, 2008 at 2:00pm with the Rev. James Harrison officiating. Interment to follow in the Tracy Baptist Cemetery.
