CHARLOTTE HORNCASTLE
HORNCASTLE, CHARLOTTE Charlotte Jean (Pringle) Horncastle passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, September 05, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 8, 1935 in Williamsburg, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Beth (MacMillan) Pringle. Charlotte graduated from Stanley High School in 1954 and the NB Teachers College in 1955. She taught in Nashwaak Bridge and Nashwaaksis before retiring to raise four children. Her love for flowers and quilts was only exceeded by her love for her family. Charlotte struggled with Muscular Dystrophy for the past 35 years, but being a strong and determined person she always maintained a positive attitude. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. In addition to her husband of 52 years, Dale Horncastle, Charlotte is survived by her children, Kathleen Annette Skinner (Marc) of Niagara Falls, ON, Lauretta Susanne Wilson (Ashley) of Douglas, NB, Wendy Louise Richard (Daniel) and Bradley Dale Horncastle both of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jessica and Paul Skinner, Vanessa, Jeremy and Stephanie Wilson, Shawn and Melanie Richard; sister, Margaret Flynn of Stanley, NB; brothers, Gordon (Judy) Pringle of Ottawa, ON and Arthur (Alberta) Pringle of Kensington, PE and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Gibson Memorial United Church on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Boyd Vincent officiating. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
