MACLEAN, MARGARET JEAN Mrs. Margaret MacLean of Cornwall, Ontario formerly of Pointe Claire, Quebec at the Sandfield Place Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, age 91 years. Former teacher, avid gardener, member of St. John's United Church and Naomi group, bridge player (Life Master), lawn bowler and curler. Beloved wife of the late Donald MacLean (January 4, 2008). Loved mother of Neil MacLean (Lynn Macdonell), Cornwall; Malcolm MacLean (Teresa), St. Catharines; and Susan Hess (David) of New Hartford, Connecticut. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Thomas, Gregor, David, Katie and Sam and by her step-grandchildren Amanda, Melissa, Emily and Josh; and step-greatgrandchildren Joshua, Hannah, Ivy, Eli, Drew, and Isabel. Dear sister of Earle Gilchrist. Predeceased by her parents, Robert Gilchrist and Florence DeMille; brothers Billy and David Gilchrist; and sisters Marion Reicker and Roberta McLean.
