SHANNON, LAVINA JACQUELINE (March 2, 1932 - October 1, 2008) Lavina Jacqueline Shannon RN (Johnson) Jackie passed away peacefully on October 1, 2008 at the Grand Falls General Hospital, aged 76. She will be deeply missed. Born on March 2, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Ruby and Alonzo Johnson of Oxbow, NB. Jackie is survived by her loving family, husband Doug to whom she was married 55 years and her children, daughter Heather (Stephen) Llewellyn, son Kevin and daughter Lisa (Ron) Smith, grandchildren Morgan and Kerys Llewellyn, Jessica, Arianna and Hannah Smith all from Fredericton. She is also survived by sisters Mavis Everett and Greta (Wendell) Campbell of Plaster Rock and Naida Margison of Woodstock, brothers Wayne (Patricia) Johnson of Plaster Rock and Garth Johnson of Tuskets, NS. Jackie was predeceased by brothers Allister, Walter, George and John, sisters Hazel, Vida, Alice, Anna and Jane. As a devoted Registered Nurse, Jackie worked in Fredericton at the Victoria Public Hospital and later in Plaster Rock at the Tobique Valley Hospital and Tobique Valley Manor. She loved nature, music, NASCAR and especially quilting. By Jackie's request there will be a memorial service held for family only.
