ALLEN, MARY The passing of Mary Josephine Georgina "Georgie" (Robichaud) Allen, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Charles Allen, occurred on Sunday, October 05, 2008 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Lauvergot, NB on June 7, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Didace and Mauguerite (St. Coeur) Robichaud. Georgie worked as a teller with the Bank of Nova Scotia during her working years. Georgie loved spending time in the outdoors sitting in the sun in her favorite chair. In her younger years, she enjoyed music and dancing and still enjoyed spending time with her friends and feline companion, "Rosie". Georgie is survived by her three children; Lance (Nancy) Allen of Upper Kingsclear, NB, Scott (Vicki) Allen of Fredericton, NB, Karen (Gael) Maxwell of Cambridge, NS, four siblings, Therese (Lou) Leonard, Lawrence (Margie) Robichaud, Anita (Art) Leonard and Lionel (Joyce) Robichaud; six grandchildren; Charles, Rory, Nicoli, Abby, Amy and Cameron; special aunt, Addie Brown; special friends, Audrey and Jackie; several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Georgina was predeceased by an infant brother, Wilbert. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11am with Rev. Gerald White officiating. Interment will take place in Gladstone Cemetery, Fredericton Junction, NB. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Fredericton SPCA or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
