GIBSON, CATHERINE ELIZABETH At the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on October 3, 2008, Catherine E. Gibson age 65 of Fredericton, NB passed away peacefully. Born in Pleasant Villa, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Marion (Lacy) McAllan. Catherine was a member of the Christ Church Parish Church, Westmorland Street, as well as the Craft Club at the church. She also was a member of the Fredericton Nature Club, Ladies Auxillary Branch #4 Royal Canadian Legion. She retired from the Province of NB after 37 years as a Data Entry Clerk. An avid gardener her love for flowers and plants could be seen both inside and outside at her home. A strong supporter of her husband Don's bird watching, Catherine enjoyed researching her family history and sharing information with her relatives. She loved to travel enjoying her trips to Scotland where her father was originally from, but will be best remembered for her kind and loving nature to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Survived by her husband, Donald Gibson brother, William (Cassie) and family of Pleasant Villa, NB; mother - in - law Margaret Gibson of Fredericton; as well as many aunts and cousins; godchildren, Kristina and Michael; dog Brady and cat Muffin. Visitation will take place on Monday and Tuesday October 6 & 7, 2008 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. A private funeral service will be held with Rev.
