CLAIR, ELDON GEORGE Eldon George Clair, aged 90, passed away Monday, September 29th, 2008 at Central Carleton Nursing Home, Hartland, New Brunswick. He was born on March 11th, 1918 in Gordonsville, NB to Bert and Azalea Clair. He was a graduate of Bristol High School and the University of New Brunswick (1949 BSc, 1950 MSc) and served in the RCAF during World War ll. Eldon married Maxine E. Noble of Bristol, NB on October 6, 1939. After a brief period of teaching school he became a forensic scientist, working for the RCMP in Sackville, NB and Ottawa, ON and then the OPP in Toronto, ON. Eldon was predeceased by his wife Maxine, brothers Claude, Donald and Preston, and his sister Freeda Orser. He is survived by his sister-in-law Pauline Gallagher, brother-in-law, Franklin Noble, and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
