GYUK, ZSIGMOND (ZIGGY) The passing of Zsigmond (Ziggy) Gyuk of Fredericton occurred October 7, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Ziggy was born on Sept 29, 1925 at Rakospatlota, Hungary, son of the late Istvan and Lubyca (Menovics) Gyuk. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Gyuk and Judy (Michel) Savoie and by his grandchildren, Andrew Blair, Patrick and Matthieu Savoie, and by one brother, Imre Gyuk of Hungary. He was predeceased by four brothers, Sandor, Janos, Istvan Demeter, and one sister, Tera Andahazi Szeghi. Visitations will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday October 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Theresa's Church on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00 am with Father Monte Peters Officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
