BOURGEOIS, LEON JOSEPH The death of Leon Joseph Bourgeois of Minto, NB occurred Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Queen's North Palliative Care. Born in Rogersville, NB he was the son of Joseph and Leonie (Richard) Bourgeois. Survived by sons, Ivan (Sheryl), Tony (Joyce) both of Chipman, Maurice, Danny (Bonnie) and Ricky Bourgeois all of Minto, NB; daughters, Florence Walker (David) and Geraldine Heagney both of Woodstock, NB; brothers, Norman and Willy; sisters, Doris Bourgeois, Alma Belliveau (Emery) and Loretta Arsenault all of Minto, NB; brother, Jerry Bourgeois of United States; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Leon was predeceased by his wife Irene (Robichaud) Bourgeois in 2003; sister, Rita Gaudet in 1983. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday, October 13th, 2008 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Internment will take place in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
