BROOKS, GUY BERTRAM Guy B. Brooks of Hartfield, NB passed away October 20, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born in 1928, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Gladys (Adams) Brooks. Guy lived all of his life in Hartfield where he enjoyed farming and later operating Brooks Redemption Center. Guy is survived by a daughter, Nancy Trail (Haldean), Temperance Vale; two sons, Malcolm Brooks (Velma), Campbell Settlement and Danny Brooks, Hartfield; two brothers, Harry Brooks, Hartfield and Dean Brooks, Caledon East, ON; four grandchildren, Angie Brewer (Jeff), Temperance Vale, Darren Trail (Mindy), Mactaquac, April Sharpe (Greg), Millville and Rachel Brooks, Campbell Settlement; four great grandchildren, Nash, Lexi, Wyatt and Landon; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Guy was predeceased by his wife, Joyce M. (Price) Brooks; a daughter, Joan Keetch; two brothers, Robert and Allison Brooks. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment in Otis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Merlin Fox, Vaughn Schriver, Gerry Price, Tony Brooks, Lloyd McCorquindale and Robert Dickinson.
