PAUL, LESLIE The passing of Leslie Jeffrey Joseph Paul occurred Sunday, October 19, 2008 at his residence, 167 Maliseet Dr., St. Mary's First Nation, Fredericton, NB. He was 55. Born April 9, 1953 in Fredericton, he was the son of the late Daniel and Bernadette (Paul) Paul. Leslie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No.4, Fredericton and was employed with S.A. Deliveries for 17 years. Leslie is survived by his wife Jean Marie (Brooks) Paul; sons, Darren (Sharon), Joshua (Sarah) and Joe Penny; grandchildren Ashley, Mark, Michael, Melissa, Payton, Jaeda and Shaniah; great grandchildren Markus and Ethan; brothers, and sisters, Daniel (Bernie), Stanley (Margaret), Adam (Tina), Martin (Pauline), Byron (Faye), Gloria (Earl) and Cathy (Gene); several nieces, nephews and Godchildren. Predeceased by his parents, daughter Cheryl Knockwood, a brother Phillip; a sister, Yvonne; and infant twins, Deborah and Clayton Paul. Leslie will rest at his home, 167 Maliseet Dr., St. Mary's First Nation, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday evening and Thursday. The funeral service will be held from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Monte Peters as celebrant. A Legion Tribute Service will be held at the church. Cremation to follow. The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Lung Association.
