HALLETT, JOHN ROBERT (1935-2008) It is with great heartbreak that my brothers and I announce the passing of our father, John Hallett at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on October 25, 2008. Predeceased by his wife Madeline Paul, parents Ernest and Clara (Stevens) Hallett, his brothers Albert, William, Arthur, James, Charles, Harry and his only sister Alice. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his sons Ron of Fredericton and Peter of London, Ont.; his daughter Jean (Travis) Maynard of Fredericton; granddaughter Katrina Maynard and great granddaughter Isabella Eve Marie. He was a land surveyor for many years with Key Surveyors of Moncton. He loved to hunt, enjoyed fishing in the Miramichi River and was an excellent gardener. There will be no service by his request.
