TAYLOR, DORA KATHLEEN (CAVANAUGH) The death of Dora Taylor occurred quietly at her residence surrounded by her family on October 27, 2008. Born, November 19th, in Albert Co., she was the wife of the late Donald (Bill) Taylor and daughter to the late James and Arvilla (Keirstead) Cavanaugh. Dora started a career in Moncton at Eaton's in their account department as well as worked #5 Equipment Depot during WWII. She moved to Fredericton with her husband and child where she worked for a number of years at Hogan's Jewel. She had a passion for her Irish Heritage, birds, animals (especially cats), gardening, antiques and dancing as well as being involved in various charities. Dora was a beloved mother to Judith Bradford (Gary), Eric A. Taylor and David Taylor (Connie); beloved sister- in-law, Lois and lifelong friend, Sylvia Willett as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Don; brothers, Thomas and Percy and beloved sister, Norma Reimnitz. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th, 2008 from the McAdams Select Community Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. A burial will take place on Saturday in the Greenhill Cemetery, Edgetts Landing, Albert Co. at 1 pm. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or to the SPCA. www.mcadamsfh.com (458-9170)
