STEWART, GENEVA After a short illness, it is with sadness that the family of Geneva Stewart announces her passing on Sunday, November 9th, 2008 at the Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Minto on September 18th, 1940, Geneva was the daughter of Ernest and Eleanor (Brewster) West. She is survived by her children, Marjorie (Michael Carle), Phillip (Norma), and Bonnie (Peter MacKeigan); and her beloved grandchildren, Phillip and Bailey Stewart, Sara, Travis and Victoria MacKeigan. Geneva also leaves behind her 4 sisters, Judy (Paul Stewart), Ruby Bagley, Maxine (Dave Mills), and Anne (Keith Malloy); one brother, Martin (Rene); sisters-in-law, Ina Venner, Mary West, Helen West; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Geneva was predeceased by her parents (Ernie & Eleanor West); her husband (Glendon); 3 brothers (Cecil, Floyd and Aubrey); and 2 sisters (Anita and Margaret). All arrangements entrusted to the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490), where visitation will take place Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Services will be conducted in the Scotchtown United Church, Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. K. Ruth Stuart officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Geneva's memory to the Scotchtown United Church Women's (UCW) Group, the Scotchtown Cemetery or the charity of ones choice.
