ARTHUR NOEL CAISSIE
CAISSIE, ARTHUR NOEL 1932 - 2008 Arthur Noel Caissie, 75, born in Moncton New Brunswick on December 21, 1932, loving husband of the late Betty (Hubbs) Caissie passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Brampton Civic Hospital on November 10, 2008. Arthur was employed for many years with the Department of Justice in Fredericton as the Superintendant of several Maritime jails. An avid hockey fan who's calls will be sadly missed when the Montreal Canadians made a goal. Survived by one brother, Roger Caissie; two daughters Lynn (Joe) Meadus, Debi (Donald) Bourque; two sons Milton (Jana) Caissie, Timothy (Donna) Caissie; seven grandchildren Jayson (Krista) Nestoruk, Ryan (Sara) Nestoruk, Keri (Russell) Daigle, Shawn (Annalee) Bourque, Cynthia (Wilson) Bourque, Landyn Caissie, Jennifer Carvallo; six great grandchildren Jack Nestoruk, Andy Nestoruk, Alec Daigle, Isabelle Daigle, Ethan Nestoruk, Alia Nestoruk, Alyssa Snow; several nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by an infant daughter Leah; mother Angelique; father Eugene; four sisters Betty, Aurella, Bernice, Emma; two brothers Ivan and Norman. The family wish to thank Dr. Tracey for his continued care during Dad's final years. A special thank you to the nurses of the CCU unit at the Brampton Civic Hospital who made his final days as comfortable as possible. No visitation as requested by the family. Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will follow in Harvey Station New Brunswick on April 11, 2009. For those wishing to make a donation in memory of Arthur the family has suggested the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
