OWENS, D. JACQUELINE (PICKARD) The death of Jacqueline Owens, wife of the late Edward T. Owens occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday November 15, 2008. She was born in Fredericton on June 30, 1926 and was the daughter of Harold and Ruby (True) Pickard. She is survived by one daughter, Kate (Bob Burgess) of Rak, UAE, three sons, Paul (Mary) of Waterdown, ON, Hal (Sandra) of Richmond, BC and Sean (Noella) of Fredericton. Also survived by three granddaughters, Shannon Owens of Halifax, NS, and Madison and Emily Owens of Fredericton; three sisters-in-law Elizabeth Owens of Fredericton, Pat Coughlan of Edmonton, AB and Catherine Boyle of Saint John, NB and one brother-in- law, James Owens of Saint John, NB. A memorial service will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton on Wednesday November 19th at 12 p.m., followed by a reception at the same location. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Francis of Assisi cemetery in Lincoln.
