POORE, EILEEN Poore, Eileen (nee Estabrooks), wife of Buster Poore, Marysville, NB, passed away peacefully with her four children at her side on Sunday evening, November 16, 2008, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 14, 1928, in Black's Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Wendall and Freda (Bradford) Estabrooks. In addition to her husband, Eileen is survived by two sons, Dana (Linda) of Coalhurst, AB, Charles (Tanya) of Marysville, NB; two daughters, Donna (John) MacKay of Woodstock, NB, Jennifer Kehoe of Marysville, NB; eight grandchildren, Anna Poore, Colby and Tyrel Poore, Gareth, Allison and Mallory MacKay, Darcy and Courtney Kehoe; two step-grandchildren, Zachary Neville and Tayler Yanke; one great-grandaughter, Peyton Kehoe; brother, Paul Estabrooks, at home; sisters, Gladys Arnold of Marysville, NB, Betty King (Gordon) of Kingsclear, NB, Patricia Hamilton of New Maryland, NB; special son, Michael Kehoe of Calgary, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Eileen was predeceased by an infant sister, Myrtle; brothers, James, Keith, Kenneth and Wendall (Junior). She lived in Marysville all her life, working in the Cotton Mill for many years and later employed by Ronald and Lynwood Evans (Imperial Oil), retiring in 1984 after 17 years. Eileen enjoyed bowling and her Toronto Blue Jays. She was never without her knitting and was happiest when knitting for family. In particular, family members were always pleased to receive her Christmas stockings. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Reverend Paul Thompson on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Marysville Baptist Extension Cemetery.
