DUNLAP, MURIEL (BOBBIE) A. The passing of Muriel A. Dunlap occurred on November 29, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Doak Settlement, NB she was a daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Blizzard) MacFawn and wife of the late Percy Eldon Dunlap. Muriel was a Dental Assistant until her retirement. She was a member of Grace Memorial United Baptist Church in Fredericton. She enjoyed participating in the Seniors Bowling and Shuffleboard Clubs, was a member of RCL Ladies Aux. Fredericton Branch #4, and was a rabid Blue Jays baseball fan. Muriel is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Eleanor Puxley (Simon) of Fredericton; one brother Harry MacFawn (Joan) of Florida; four sisters, Carro Poole, Margaret Oagles, Lois Proulx (Raymond) all of Florida, and Mary Gray (Leonard) of Saint John; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents, husband, Percy (1996) and her twin brother, Howard MacFawn. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton where visitation will take place on Monday, December 1st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment in Fredericton Rural Cemetery. A reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Fredericton SPCA, Grace Memorial United Baptist Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
