DANIEL WILLIAM ALEXANDER TAYLOR
TAYLOR, DANIEL WILLIAM ALEXANDER The passing of Daniel "Dan" W. A. Taylor of Fredericton, NB, husband of Sandra (MacDonald) Taylor, occurred on December 1, 2008 in Moncton, NB. Born on December 17, 1952 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Irene (Flowers) Taylor and the late W. Allan Taylor. He was a salesman for Global Vending and a former employee of Ben's Bakery for many years. Due to Dan's dedication and his many positions, including past president of Barker's Point Lions Club, he was honoured as a life member of Lions International. He enjoyed curling, fishing, hunting, ATVing and camping. In addition to his mother and his wife, Sandra, Dan is survived by his daughters, Terri-Lynn Nelson (Andrew) of Fredericton, NB, Traci-Ann Taylor, at home; son, Troy Taylor of Red Deer, AB; grandchildren, Alexander, Julia and Brayden Nelson; sister, Elizabeth Sowers (Fred) of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Tim (Pauline) of Grand Lake, NB, Tom (Betty) of Howard Brook, NB, Frank (Kim) of Silverwood, NB and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Lions Tribute Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. George Feenstra officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery.
