PATTERSON, SIMONNE Simonne Patterson of Fredericton, NB passed away on December 9, 2008 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Petit Rocher, NB, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Celina (Doucette) Grant. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Simonne was a retired teacher with District #1, having taught at Ecole Ste. Anne, also a member of Ste.-Anne-des-Pays-Bas Church. Survived by a daughter Nancy Patterson; a son Richard Patterson both of Fredericton; five grand- children Samantha, Anthony, Nicholas, Christina, and Nicole; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home Ltd., 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB, with visitation Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, from Ste.-Anne-des-Pays-Bas at 10:00 AM with Father Donald Savoie as celebrant. Internment will be held in the spring.
