HASTINGS, OLIVE KATHLEEN The passing of Olive Kathleen (Gullison) Hastings, of Stanley, NB, occurred on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. Born on September 15, 1927, she was a daughter of Bessie (Fullarton) Griffin and the late Stephen Gullison. Olive is survived by three sons, Keith (Valerie) Hastings of Maple Grove, NB, Stephen (Lynn) Hastings of Oromocto, NB and John Hastings of Toronto, ON; three daughters, Lavona Gilmour (Gerald) of Taymouth, NB, Carolyn Mulder (Jerry) of Fredericton, NB and Casandra Hastings (Michele) of PQ; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one brother, Stephen (Rhoda) Gullison of Stanley, NB; one sister, Jean Gorman of Stanley, NB and several nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by one brother, Merle Gullison; and one sister, Norma Merrill. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Larry officiating. Interment will take place in the Hillcrest United Church Cemetery at a later date.
