KERR, SARAH JANE At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, December 21, 2008, wife of Milton Kerr. Born in 1917 in County Farmanagh, Ireland. she was the daughter of the late Robert and Isabella Warrell(Robb). The family moved to New Brunswick in 1930. Sarah graduated from Fredericton High and Teachers College and taught school in Dunns Corner and Clones. Married in 1941 lived in Summerhill were she was involved in many ways helping her husband Milton on the farm until expropriation of the area for Camp Gagetown in 1953, then moved to Fredericton. Sarah was a member of St. Paul's United Church since 1953; a chartered member of the St. Paul's U.C.W, taught Sunday School and was a Member of the Ladies Aid, Summerhill United Church. Sarah is survived by her husband J. Milton Kerr, One daughter; Barbara Hansen (Gerry) of Burlington Ont, four step grandchildren, five step great granddaughters, one brother William (Peggy) of Fredericton, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Kerr, one brother Robert Warrell, and two Sisters, Elizabeth Welling and Isabel "Isa" Bezeg Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Monday December 22 2008 from 7 to 9 pm and 12 to 2:00 time of the service. Funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on December 23, 2008. at 2:00 PM with Rev. H.G. MacKenzie officiating. Internment to take place in the spring in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Memorial contributions made to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
