CONRAD, ROBERT EDWARD The death of Robert Edward Conrad of Fredericton occurred on Saturday December 27, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 77. He retired after a 32-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces (Army), serving in Korea, Germany and Egypt. He went on to spend over 25 years at his favourite pastime, family, farming and fishing. Bob is survived by a daughter Debra Kierstead (Dave) of Fredericton with Charlee, Millie and Gabby; two sons Robert (Diane) of Georgia, Donald (Lynn) of New Maryland; a granddaughter Kimberly Conrad of Georgia. He was predeceased by his wife Ramona (Fredericks) Conrad; his parents Joseph and Margaret (McLean) Conrad; three brothers and two sisters. Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service to be held at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Tuesday, December 30th at 2PM with Rev Sara Palmater officiating.
