MACDONALD, GERALDINE LOUISE The passing of Geraldine Louise MacDonald of Fredericton, NB, wife of Morris MacDonald occurred on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 15, 1941 in Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (McLellan) Bell. She worked for Westminster Books. Geraldine enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening, travelling, friends and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Morris, Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Gary Greck) MacDonald of Burlington, ON; sons, Randy MacDonald at home and Stephen (Karen) MacDonald of Port Elgin, ON/Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Thomas, Lauren and Caelan MacDonald, Amanda and Matthew Greck; sisters, Jean (Owen) Murray of Woodstock, NB and Hildred Thorton of Oshawa, ON ; brothers, Murray Bell of Burlington, ON and Adrian (Marjorie) Bell of Woodstock, NB; brothers-in-law, Frank (Joyce) White of Jacksonville, NB and Bertram (Francis) MacDonald of Woodstock, NB; sister-in-law, Christine (Hauley) Cummings of Meductic, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Geraldine was predeceased by her sister, Rowena (Bell) White; father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Velma (Briggs) MacDonald; brother-in-law, Vinel Thornton. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday January 20, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday January 21, 2009 at 2pm. Interment will take place in Jackson Falls Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
