PEABODY, GERALD STEAD (P.ENG) Born November 15, 1920 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, after a lengthy illness passed away on January 21, 2009, at home, in the arms of his loving family in Tsawwassen, BC. Predeceased by his first wife, Jean Kennedy and recently by his daughter Janice (Sean). He leaves behind his beloved wife Anne, his children; Betty, Margaret (Jim), Frank (Barb), Robert (Patricia), John (Joanne), Jim (Wendy), Lesley and Doug (Sarah), fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his brother George and sister Dorothy in New Brunswick. Gerry retired from Westinghouse Canada in 1984 after forty-two years of proud service. The family is very grateful for the care and support from Dr. Martin Ray, the Delta Palliative Care Team, the Bayshore Home Health Nurses and Delta Home Care Team. A Celebration of Life will be held at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow.
