CARR, MACKENZIE ASHLEY The passing of MacKenzie Ashley Carr of Fredericton, NB, daughter of Amy Phillips (Jason) and Daren Carr occurred on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 24, 1998 in Perth Andover, NB. In addition to her parents, MacKenzie is survived by her sister, Courtney Dawn; brothers, Brady and Mason; maternal grandmother, Marlene Manuel; grampy and grammy Phillips, Brian and Bonnie; paternal grandparents, George and Sharon Carr; great grandmothers, Iris Giggie and Rita Manuel; aunt, Tanya (Tony) Brayall and children, Faith and Raymond; uncles, Mike (Chantal) Giggie and their children, Eden and Caleb, Mike (Jen) Carr and daughter, Madysen; MacKenzie's special friend, Matthew. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Monday, January 26, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Nashwaaksis Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. Interment will take place in Upper Kent Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrance may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Ovarian Cancer Research).
