BREWER, JASPER RALSTON Jasper R. Brewer of Upper Stone Ridge, NB passed away January 24, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Jasper was born at Zealand in 1927, a son of the late Lloyd W. and Rebecca G. (Lawrence) Brewer. He was a truck driver for most of his working years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed his horses. Jasper is survived by four daughters, Constance Palmer (George), Sheila Estey (Jack), both of Fredericton, Norma Brewer (Stenton), Zealand and Carmalena Taillon (John), Ontario; five sons, Gerald (Louise), Manitoba, Jackie (Gloria), Fredericton, Richard and Randy (Elizabeth), both of Stone Ridge and Allan (Violet), Keswick; two sisters, Georgina Tompkins, Hartland and Stella Billings, Hainesville; three brothers, George, Vernon and Ralston, all of Zealand; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jasper was predeceased by his wife, Janet (Brewer) Brewer in 1982, two sisters, Pauline Sharpe and Mary Brewer and a brother, Edison. Visiting hours will be held at the Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Arol Brewer officiating, assisted by Terrance Brewer. Interment will be later at Zealand Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Brewer, Kirk Brewer, Evan Brewer, Stephanie Brewer, Tara Best and Troy Best.
