GARTLEY, THOMAS JOHN 67, of Woodstock, NB, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Tom was born in Woodstock, NB, on November 10, 1941, son of Marjorie and the late Stanley Gartley. Tom is survived by his wife Colleen Laskey, Woodstock, NB, his mother Marjorie Bell (Adrian), sons; Thomas (Pam), Ottawa, ON, Brian (Janet), Brockville, ON, Kevin Laskey (Darcy), Debec, NB, Derrick Laskey (Denise), Hartland, NB, Darren Laskey, Montreal, QC, grandchildren; Matthew, Morgan, Rachel, Andrea, Nathan, Colin, brothers; Blake (Anna), Robert (Wanda), John (Lori), sisters; Phyllis Carpenter, Judy Clark (Allan), mother- in-law, Charlene Doucette, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was predeceased by his father, Stanley Gartley. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday, January 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Carleton County Animal Shelter, River Valley Cancer Support Group or to a memorial of donor's choice. No live flowers by request of the family due to allergies.
