CHESSA, BERNICE EUNICE Bernice Eunice Chessa, wife of Walter Chessa I, died on January 26, 2009 in Brooksville, Florida. She is survived by sons, Gary Chessa, of Brewer, ME, and Walt Chessa II, of Charleston, S.C., daughter, Marilyn Sprague, of Lampe, MO, sister Beatrice Johnson, of Revelstoke, B.C., nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Walt Chessa of Old Town, ME, son Larry Chessa, and daughter Diane Bowden. Bernice was born October 23, 1926 in McAdam, daughter of the late Harry W. Gillies and Carrie Grass, of McAdam, N.B. Funeral Services will be held at Turner's Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Visitation at 1 pm with services to follow. Interment will be in Bushnell Florida National Cemetery.
