ALLABY, MARGARET ROSE The passing of Margaret Rose Allaby of Richibucto Road, NB, wife of George Allaby occurred on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at home. Born on May 3, 1943 in Chignecto, NS, she was the daughter of the late Duncan and Hazel (Corey) Ripley. She was a member of the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church. She graduated from the Moncton School of Nursing. Margaret retired as a Registered Nurse from Stan Cassidy Center in 1982. In addition to her husband, George, Margaret is survived by daughter, Heidi Lynne; son, Andrew Duncan; grandchild, Dre Edward; brothers, Rupert (Bona) Ripley of Nappan, NS, James (Evelyn) Ripley of Truro, NS and Bradley (Annie) Ripley of Moncton, NB; sister-in-law, Trena Ripley of Chignecto, NS and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her brother, Ralph. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Jeff Benson officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society or Gideon Memorial Bible Plan (Fredericton) would be appreciated by the family.
