FOX, MICHAEL VINCENT Michael V. Fox of Tracy, NB Passed away on February 12, 2009 at the age of 56 at the palliative care unit of the DECH, with his wife Denise by his side after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Michael is survived by his loving wife Denise (Lavoie) Fox and their three children, Jean-Vincent (Jaska) of Lincoln, NB, Rachelle of St-Thomas, ON and Nick of Calgary, AB. Also survived by his parents Vincent Fox of Fredericton, Maude (Harris) Fox of Tracy, one sister Donna Murdoch (Jim), one brother Gary (Sharon) of Moncton and five grandchildren: Stephanie, Daryll, Nicole, Madison and Jayden and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Darrell and his grandparents. A wonderful friend, husband and father, Michael had a great sense of humor and made people laugh easily. In his spare time he enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He worked for many years as a carpenter; he also operated a fox ranch for a few years. He was known to have many skills, among which the ability to fix anything resourcefully. Michael could give advice on just about any subject. His deep love of nature was evident through gardening, working in his woodlot; he had great respect for wildlife and was an avid hunter as well. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Friday, February 13, 2009 for visitation from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be from St. Columba Catholic Church on Saturday February 14, 2009 at 3:00pm with Father Mark Trzop officiating.
