WANAMAKER, WILLIAM J (BILL) Passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, ON, on Friday, February 6, 2009 at the age of 88. He is survived by Louise, his wife of 61 years; daughter Beth (Bob Ray) of Ottawa, ON; son Garth (Carolyn Lane) of Calgary, AB; four grandsons Devin, Alex, Doug and Mason; and one sister Alice (Doug Flower) of Minto, NB. Predeceased by two sisters, Hattie Dobson and Jean MacVicar, and two brothers, Millard and Herbert. Born at the Range, NB, Bill served in the RCAF from 1941 to 1945, graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Civil Engineering in 1949 and enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the Canadian National Railway.
