FERRIS, MYRTLE MAY The passing of Myrtle May Ferris, wife of Norman R. Ferris of Fredericton, occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on Sunday, February 15th, 2009. Born October 1st, 1922 in Fredericton (Nashwaaksis), she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Victoria (Rogers) Greenfield. Baptist by faith, she attended Grace Memorial United Baptist Church for many years. Myrtle loved the outdoors especially when she could work in her flower gardens. She loved children and over the years many children were lovingly cared for in her home. Myrtle leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Norman R. Ferris and a chosen granddaughter Erin Kenny (her husband Lyle and their daughter Jacquelin) as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Myrtle was predeceased by a sister Agnes Day and a brother Maurice Greenfield. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
