MACFARLANE, VINCENT EARL Vincent E. MacFarlane of Upper Queensbury, NB passed away February 23rd, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Vince was born at Woodstock, NB in 1948, a son of the Earl A. MacFarlane and the late Nora A. (Dunham) MacFarlane. He was a self employed trucker, beginning that work at the age of 16. He was a member of Granite Lodge #54 and Sure Life Assembly and also served on the board of the church. Vince is survived by his wife, Rosiland M. (Farrell) MacFarlane; three sons, Vincent MacFarlane (Mary), Ritchie, NB, Dwight MacFarlane (Tanya) and Jason MacFarlane (Sandra), both of Upper Queensbury, NB; his grandchildren, Samantha, Natalie, Tyler, Allyson, Jessica, Jarrett and Samie-Jo; his father Earl of Waterville, York County; five sisters, Eldena Sharp (Richard), Upper Queensbury, Betty Priest (Dearing), Temperance Vale, Sharon Pickard (Arnold), Bernadine Gingras (Gilles), both of Waterville and Petrina McGuigan (Roger), Millville; a brother, Elwyn MacFarlane (Linda), Waterville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother in 1994 and two brothers-in-law, Dale Sharp in 1991 and Bernard Daigle in 1994. Visitation will be held at Sure Life Assembly, 335 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paul Legere and Rev. Lloyd Pangburn officiating. Interment will follow at Nackawic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Glendon Dore, Carl and Nadine Gavel and Dwayne and Jerilynn Boone. Active pallbearers will be his son Jason MacFarlane and nephews Andrew MacFarlane, Timmy MacFarlane, Dennis Sharp, Dana Sharp and Nathan Priest.
