RITCHIE, OLIN CLIFFORD Olin went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on February 23rd, 2009; Beloved husband of Eileen (Barron) of Oromocto, NB. Born in Dow Settlement, NB; son of the late Lester and Gladys Ritchie, father of John, Anne, Deborah and the late Michael of Oromocto; eldest brother of Floyd (Irene) of Wicklow, NB; Maurice (Barbara) of Woodstock, NB and Eileen Carpenter (Sterling) of New Maryland, NB. Predeceased by siblings Charles (Helen) and Marjorie Thornton (Paul); brother-in-law of Elizabeth MacDonald (Jack) of Mississauga, ON; Wanda (Edmund) Dodds of Saint John, NB; Allan Barron (Mary) of New Glasgow, NS; Judy Garrett (Paul) of Stouffville, ON; and June Senechal (James) of Pembrooke, ON, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Olin was a devoted family man, a graduate of Teachers' College in 1947, a man of business for many years, a deacon and a member of the Oromocto Baptist Church. For many years he served on the board of the Oromocto Public Hospital. Olin enjoyed a wonderful family life, talking, laughing and sharing jokes- some from his own life experiences and some "borrowed" from books. Olin was a friend to all who knew him. Family will receive visitors at Oromocto Baptist Church, Doyle Drive, Oromocto West, NB on Friday, February 27th, 2009 at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Oromocto Baptist Church on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at 2pm with the Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating.
