MARTIN, LEO GARY It is with heavy hearts that Victoria and Amanda announce the passing of their father, Leo Gary Martin, age 57 on Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a period of failing health. Born on September 8th, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Leo Sr. and Doreen (MacDonald) Martin. Leo is survived by his daughters, Victoria (William) Martin-McKay and Amanda Martin; step son, Todd Mansfield; grandchildren, Shelby and Samantha Goodspeed, Sarah and Matthew Gould, Faith Martin, Destiny Mansfield and Tyler Shakell; sisters, Charlene (Rick), Freda (Bill), Joyce (Ken) and Mae; brother, Bobby (Kathy); common law spouse, Sandra Adamen; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Leo was predeceased by his son, Kenneth and brothers, Ronald and Edward. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, February 27th, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor David M. Gray officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
