LEAH LORENA GOODINE

GOODINE, LEAH LORENA It is with great sadness that the family of Leah L. Goodine of Lower Kingsclear, announce her passing peacefully at the Curtis Special Care Home, on March 4, 2009 at the age of 79. Born in Lower Kingsclear, she was a daughter of the late Whitman and Pearl (Goodfellow) Kelly and wife of the late Gilbert Goodine. Leah was a member of St. Ann's Kingsclear Catholic Church, member of the Choir and very actively involved with the C.W.L. She retired from the Provincial Government, lastly with the Provincial Forest Nursery in 1991, and was an avid fan of Harness Racing. Surviving are her children Rebecca Moore (Keith) of McLeod Hill, Peter (Corrine) of Lower Kingsclear, Clyde (Jennifer) and Daniel (Barbara) all of Fredericton; six grandchildren Jessica, Michael, Melissa, Kaylee, Shayna, and Shannon; five great grandchildren; sisters Nereen Russell of Hillsborough, Ruth Inch of Fredericton, Edna MacDonald (Doug) of Alexandria, Ont., Helen Currie (Phil) of Douglas, Carolyn (Kaye) Joyce (Mike) of Spruce Grove, Alta., and Sharon Turner (Barry) of Belleisle Creek, NB; brothers Willard Kelly (Judy) and Edward Kelly (Shirley) all of Dartmouth, NS; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Ella Howard (Bud); brother Robert Kelly (Linda); brothers in law Charles Russell and Alex Inch. Visitation will be held on Monday March 9, 2009 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Kingsclear Church on Tuesday March 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Father David Martin officiating. Interment in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
