DENTON, CECIL H. Cecil H. Denton passed away on March 8th, 2009 at the W. G Bishop Nursing Home in Minto, NB with his family by his side. Cecil was born in Scotchtown, NB, March 19th, 1916. Cecil was a life member of Queen's County Historical Society and Museum. Cecil was WW II Veteran having served with the Fifth Armoured Division. Cecil was a farmer, fisherman, trapper, hard rock miner, soldier, stockman, game warden and archaeologist. Cecil is survived by wife Donna (Clark) Denton; daughter, June MacIntosh (Brian) of Lacombe, Alta; son, Lawrence (Tammy) of Scotchtown, NB; two grandsons, Christopher and Dylan; nieces and nephews. Cecil was predeceased by mother Janet and father Hugh Denton; two brothers, A.L. Denton and Lawrence M. Denton. Funeral to take place 2:00PM at Scotchtown United Church Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 with Rev. K.
