LAWRENCE, JAMES IRVINE James "Jim" Irvine Lawrence of Fredericton, NB, husband of Vera (Culliton) Lawrence passed away peacefully in the arms of his savior on Sunday, March 8th, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 27th, 1925 in Prince William, NB, he was the son of the late Alvin and Olive (Morgan) Lawrence. Jim was a self employed salesman. He was a member of the Nashwaaksis Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Vera, James is survived by his daughters, Judy Randall (Bud) of Fredericton, NB, April Murphy (Lester) of New Market, NB, Melody Cliff (Dale) of Saskatoon, SK and Holly Billings (Brian) of Hartland, NB; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews in Sault. Ste. Marie, ON. Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by his son, Ellery and brother, Arthur. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 at 11 am with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating. Interment will take place in Prince William Cemetery at a later date.
