MAZEROLLE, MILDRED GENEVIEVE The passing of Mildred Genevieve Mazerolle of Fredericton NB occurred Monday, March 30, 2009 at the Nashwaak Villa Nursing Home. She was 87. Born at Mazerolle Settlement she was the daughter of the late Leo and Dolly (Staples) Mazerolle. Mildred ran a nursing home at 141 Miles street for many years. She was known for her compassionate care to all. Her unique wit, and her impeccable style and love for everyone. She is survived by three sons; Leon (Bonnie) of Acton, Greg (Frances) of Newmarket, and John (Saundra) of Mazerolle Settlement; one sister Pauline Chessie of Fredericton; Nephews and nieces; Jerry of Mississauga, Dawn of Nashwaaksis, Jackie of Keswick, Judy of Kingston, Agnes of Fredericton and Cathy of Edmonton; seven grand children and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Wilfred Mazerolle (1958) and by her second husband Albert Peters. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton on Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A celebration of Mildred's life will be held from the Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Monte Peters officiating. Interment in the Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers are; Vicki Mazerolle, Tony Mazerolle, Sarah Godin, Wil Mazerolle, Michael Mazerolle and Sara Jane. Honorary pallbearers are; Dawn, Jackie, Agnes, Judy, and Cathy. Memorial contributions may be made to World Vision would be appreciated by the family.
