CONLEY, EARL BENJAMIN The passing of Earl Benjamin Conley, formerly of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the White Rapids Nursing Home, Fredericton Junction, NB. Born on August 12, 1941 he was a son of the late George and Margaret (Tapley) Conley. Earl formerly attended Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church in Fredericton. He enjoyed playing baseball and loved watching hockey, Joe Sakic was his favorite player with the Colorado Avalanche. Earl also spent a lot of his time at the family hunting camp. Earl is survived by three sisters, Evelyn Casey (Roger) of St. Stephen, NB, Marjorie Flemming and Linda Newman (Charles) both of Fredericton, NB; one brother, Ronald (Johanna) Conley of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Earl was predeceased by one brother, Emerson Conley; aunt, Lillian Conley; brother-in-law, Carl Flemming. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 1 pm with Pastor Harold Arbeau officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
